How can AIG 4 Latinos help you as the parent reach the proper contacts?

How can AIG 4 Latinos help you as the parent to reach the proper contacts?

Identifying your child is a process - Identification reading or math for your child is a four-step the process that includes 1), referral, 2,) screening, 3,) assessment of needs, and 4,) placement in appropriate service options. You will have to advocate for your child if the teacher or some other school authority has not already made contact with you. Go to the office of the administrator, either a teacher, counselor or the principal and ask that your child's Gifted Identification Team (GIT) team recommends he or she for Academically Gifted and Intellectual (AIG) testing. Once the test is completed and scored, you will be contacted. If your child has tested well and based on the results, the child will be removed from their current class and placed in a class for gifted students similar to him or her
