Understanding the CogAT Score

The highest score that a child can receive on the CogAT® is 160, while the average composite score is considered to be a 100.
Raw Score. The total number of correct questions answered.
Universal Scale Score (USS). Raw Score converted to a normalized standard score.
Standard Age Score (SAS). A maximum score of 160.
Percentile Rank (PR). A number used to compare students that are the same age and grade level.
Stanine (S). Made up of a range of percentile ranks.
